Quick Start (Interface)

At a glance

This guide walks you through your first steps with Ontologie via the graphical interface. In 5 steps, you will create a workspace, model your first entity, connect a data source, ask the AI agent a question, and create a simple workflow.

Estimated time: 15 minutes.

What you'll do

  • Create a workspace and find your way around the interface
  • Create your first entity in the Modeler
  • Connect an external data source
  • Ask the AI agent a question
  • Create a simple workflow

Step 1: Create your workspace

  1. Log in to Ontologie.
  2. Click Create a workspace.
  3. Give your workspace a name (e.g. My Project).
  4. Select your time zone.
  5. Click Create.

Your workspace is ready. The sidebar displays the available modules: Ontologie, Live Data, Agent Studio, Workflow Builder, etc.

Step 2: Create an entity in the Modeler

  1. Click Ontologie in the sidebar.
  2. The Modeler opens with an empty canvas.
  3. Click + New entity or double-click on the canvas.
  4. Fill in the form:
    • Name: Client
    • Type: Concept
  5. Click Create.

The entity appears on the canvas. Repeat to create a second entity (e.g. Order), then connect them by dragging a link from one entity to the other.

Step 4: Ask the AI agent a question

  1. Click Agent Studio in the sidebar.
  2. Select the default agent or create a new one.
  3. In the chat, ask a question about your data, for example:
    • How many entities have I created?
    • What are the connected sources?
  4. The agent analyzes your data and responds.

Learn more: Agent Studio.

Step 5: Create a simple workflow

  1. Click Workflow Builder in the sidebar.
  2. Click + New workflow.
  3. A canvas opens with a Start block.
  4. Add a Condition block: drag a link from the Start block.
  5. Configure the condition (e.g. If an entity is created...).
  6. Add an Email block to send a notification.
  7. Click Test to verify the workflow.

Learn more: Workflow Builder.

Expected outcome

You now have a functional workspace with an ontology, a connected data source, an AI agent, and an automated workflow. You can now dive deeper into each module.
