Command palette
At a glance
The command palette is a quick launcher that lets you reach any page, entity, or action in just a few keystrokes. It centralizes navigation and search in a single, unified interface.
Opening the palette
Press Ctrl+K (or Cmd+K on macOS). The palette appears in the center of the screen with an active search field.
You can also click the search field in the navigation bar to open it.
Federated search
As soon as you type at least two characters, the palette queries multiple sources simultaneously:
- Pages — All application pages and modules
- Entity types — The ObjectTypes and LinkTypes in your ontology
- Instances — Existing entity instances
- Workflows — Workflows configured in the Workflow Builder
- Actions — Kinetic actions attached to entities
- Views — Saved views (spreadsheets, dashboards)
Results are grouped by category and sorted by relevance. Recently visited items appear first.
Quick commands
When the search field is empty, the palette displays static commands grouped by module:
- Dashboard — Go to the main dashboard
- Modeler — Open the modeling canvas
- API Manager — Manage keys and endpoints
- Live Data — View data sources
- Workflow Builder — Create and manage workflows
- Agent Studio — Configure AI agents
These commands provide instant access to the main sections without typing anything.
